Meeting location: BIRD ISLAND PARKING LOT (last parking lot when you follow the road from the park entrance to the end) at precisely 11am.
-12:30pm Picnic at Point Lobos State Park
Meeting point BIRD ISLAND PICNIC AREA (opposite the Bird Island parking lot)
For the walk, we will follow the path by the ocean from the parking lot to Bird Island to Hidden Beach then return to China Cove to see the seals and their pups. We will continue to Bird Island to see cormorants in their nests and return to the parking lot Bird Island. En route, Gisèle will give details about the flora, fauna and history of Point Lobos.
If there are active members in attendance, Gisèle will lead a walk on Cypress Grove Trail with them after lunch.
Carpooling can be arranged.

Point de rencontre: BIRD ISLAND PARKING LOT (le dernier parking quand on suit la route depuis l’entrée du parc jusqu’à la fin) à 11 HEURES précises.
-12h30 Pique-nique à Point Lobos State Park
Point de rencontre BIRD ISLAND PICNIC AREA (juste en face du Bird Island Parking lot)
Pour la promenade, nous longerons le sentier en bord de mer depuis le parking de Bird Island jusqu’à Hidden Beach puis reviendrons sur China cove pour voir les phoques et leurs petits. Nous continuerons jusqu’à l’Ile aux oiseaux pour voir les cormorans dans leurs nids, et reviendrons sur le parking de Bird Island. En route, Gisèle donnera des renseignements sur la flore, la faune et l’histoire de Point Lobos.
S’il y a des membres très sportifs, Gisèle pourra mener une promenade sur Cypress Grove Trail avec eux après le déjeuner.
Un co-voiturage peut être organisé.
